On the weekend of the 3rd & 4th November we saw yet another successful turnout for Cancer Council’s Relay For Life. This has been our 3rd year supporting Relay For Life & we are so proud of the community’s response to the event.
Goulburn First National has assisted in raising funds for Cancer Council which has contributed to the overall fundraising goal of $75 000. Kelly Dinnerville, the Community Relations Coordinator for Cancer Council NSW stated that they have already raised $60 000 but are awaiting further donations to come through & are expecting to fulfil the $75 000 goal.
Our office has a huge presence at Relay for Life – we had at least one member from our team on the walking track for the whole 24 hours. We are extremely passionate about raising awareness for cancer research, prevention & support for those affected by cancer. Relay for Life is an extremely important day on our calendar.
A massive thank you to everyone who joined us on the walking track, it was lovely to see some familiar faces. Thank you to the people who have generously donated to our team & thank you to our community for their efforts in the fight against cancer. We did it! See you next year.
